Welcome

We opened the Foxe Farmhouse to provide lodging for outdoor enthusiasts who wish to enjoy the trails and scenic beauty of this part of Chautauqua County.   The Foxe Farmhouse is located on Thornton Road, County Route 66, two miles east of Cockaigne Ski Center.   

We are in the heart of the Cherry Creek Sno-Goers trails and
200 ft from the State Corridor Trail #1, with plenty of parking for vehicles & trailers.

The Foxe Farmhouse is a short drive from Chautauqua Institution, Jamestown or Dunkirk-Fredonia. 

Rooms

The Foxe House, a century old Victorian farmhouse, includes three bedrooms, two baths, a kitchen complete with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, & dishes, and living room with gas hearth stove,TV/DVD/VCR and two sofa sleepers.

Enjoy the scenery, tea or cocktails from one of the three porches or picnic in the shaded yard and gardens.

Pets are welcome.  Lodging for your horses in our barn or run-in sheds is also available.

Rates
The Foxe Farmhouse has bedrooms available at $60 per night per room (single or double occupancy) or exclusive use of the whole house (sleeps 9) for $200 per night (any two nights for $350 or three nights for $450).  All prices are plus 7.25% sales tax.

Meals
Includes self-serve hot & cold cereal breakfast bar (cereals, juice, milk, coffee/tea/hot cocoa, fruit, toast) -- guests are welcome to prepare their own meals.  Catering is available with arrangements in advance.

CHERRY CREEK SERVICES

         The historic village of Cherry Creek welcomes visitors & offers services including NOCO Gas Station (credit card accessible 24-hrs for car or snowmobile!), The Trillium Lodge Restaurant, Cherry Creek True Value Hardware & Stove Shop, Mobilworks, Rustic Creations, Crossroads Grocery, The Depot Gift Shop, Giers Farm Supply,  Frosts Building Supply, and other eating & drinking establishments.

        Nearby, over 30 Amish home businesses sell hand-crafted furniture, quilts, baked goods, bird houses, candy, harness & carts (new and repairs), woven rugs, toys, jams & jellies, and more.

Location

The Foxe Farmhouse is located in the heart of Chautauqua County in Southwestern New York.  Only about three hours from Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or Toronto, we are mid-way between NYC and Chicago, accessible from I-90 (NYS Thruway) and I-86 (Southern Tier Expressway, formerly Rt. 17).

We use & recommend

	Stash Tea - We have over 100 teas at our house and we have selected many of our favorite Stash teas to be the teas of choice at the B&B.  You can visit Stash teas at their website.  Highly recommended!
THE CROSSPATCH	The Crosspatch is a place for you and/or your horse (optional) to learn horsemanship, horse training, guided trail rides, stagecoach rides, overnight camping on the trail, cowboy cookouts and more!  They are 30 min from Foxe.  More info & a schedule of events at their website.
